Welcome to Ruggco Inc.

Larry and Cindy Ruggles established this construction company under the name of L. Ruggles Building & Restoration in the spring of 1989 as a one-man operation doing residential work. Larry moved the company to South Carolina to work in the aftermath of Hurricane Hugo. Upon returning to Vermont in the spring of 1990, L. Ruggles Building & Restoration performed residential construction throughout the state. From 1989 to 1993, L. Ruggles Building & Restoration renovated approximately 30 projects and built 27 new homes. The company operated out of Larry and Cindy's home in Barnet, Vermont
In 1994, L. Ruggles Building & Restoration incorporated and became Ruggco, Inc., thus operating as a bonded general contractor. The company purchased a piece of property for a new office and shop and moved the company out of the Ruggles' home.
The next five years saw controlled growth from a small residential construction company to a mid-size commercial construction general contractor with gross revenues in the millions.
Ruggco Inc. built its reputation on quality, integrity and dependability in the industry. Ruggco surrounds itself with qualified employees who have learned the values Ruggco instills in its operation.
Ruggco Inc. is experienced in commercial wood and steel framing, roofing, concrete work, commercial and residential renovations (including historical renovations), ADA rehabilitation, residential housing and window replacement. We also offer design/build and construction management capabilities.
